Our Story

Beatrix and Poppy are a Dallas based mother-daughter duo with a penchant for design, style, art and travel. They started their blog in 2019 as a means of sharing their passions with others. When Beatrix and Poppy aren’t blogging, you can find them cooking, checking out the newest art exhibit, or taking the family dogs, Hank and Tucker, to the George Bush Library nature trail.

Beatrix is a mom of two and an empty nester. Beatrix has always had an eye for traditional design and fashion, and has imparted this love of classic style to her daughter, Poppy.

Poppy is an attorney by day and lifestyle blogger by night (and weekends). After spending all day writing tedious briefs, she jumps at the chance to express herself through her blog.
